SmartSoft Video Converter is a comprehensive video converter for Windows. This application takes a really nice approach - it tries to simplify the whole process of converting files. Most applications take a bit to get used to and are not really easy to use. However, I can say that this one is amongst the more elaborate yet easy to use applications of this kind that I have seen for a long time. The user interface is impeccable. The user only has to follow a few simple steps to convert a file. First, you have to load your file into the application by the load file button. After that, you are prompted to select what type of file you want to convert your file to. There are selection boxes for the most popular formats. Then, there is a sort of progress bar that is good for selecting a default quality setting for the files. You can even select to use custom values if you want to. With a click to the start button, the process will start. You are even provided with a video player on the right for preview purposes. |
